With its vast and dynamic product catalogue, the brand needed a solution that could be incorporated quickly encompassing full automation. The business wanted to increase the efficiency of its dynamic prospecting campaign by testing new custom scripts with different target goals, across a broader audience to prove these drive better results than auto- bidding.

SOLUTION
The approach: The team developed custom bidding algorithms with three client-defined goals: maximizing seats per booking, revenue, and optimizing flight searches and bookings with a 1:5 ratio weighting.

Multiple scripts were crafted to test and identify the most impactful scoring logic for load factor and revenue. Leveraging Google's recommendations and Search AI, the solution delivered relevant product recommendations and personalized search results at scale. The approach was supported by Google Cloud Platform, utilizing its real-time signals and machine learning capabilities.

The results: The revenue test emerged as the most efficient approach, achieving the lowest cost of sales and cost per ticket, surpassing both the ticket script and automated bidding. It also yielded the highest average revenue. The success of custom bidding scripts has prompted plans for further implementation in future campaigns. Personalized recommendations based on user signals enhanced shopping experiences, increased conversion rates, and boosted order values. Additionally, the application of over 800 linguistic, pshychographic, and business signals to each search request helped reduce search abandonment by providing Google-quality search capabilities.
