Corporate Governance – making it work

Corporate governance defines a framework of rules and procedures by which Sense8 Digital Technology governs and controls its business. Good corporate governance is about establishing a sound platform for such a framework and applying our values in order to create value for Sense8 Digital Technology stakeholders.

We consider good corporate governance to be a prerequisite for value creation, trustworthiness and profitability.

Governance principles

In order to secure strong and sustainable corporate governance, it is important that we ensure good and healthy business practices, reliable financial reporting and an environment of compliance with legislation and regulations across Sense8 Digital Technology. Sense8 Digital Technology has governance documents setting out principles for how business should be conducted.

Trust and transparency

We believe good corporate governance involves openness and trustful cooperation between all parties involved in the Group: the owners, the Board and Sense8 Executive Management, employees, customers, suppliers, creditors, public authorities and society in general. When submitting reports, Sense8 Digital Technology provides both financial and non-financial information, emphasising transparency so that our stakeholders may be able to make informed decisions.

Cooperation with law-enforcement agencies

Sense8 Digital Technology fulfils its obligation to supply authorities with investigative powers (police, National Tax and Customs Authority, prosecutor’s office, courts, etc.) with information at a national level, within a strict legal framework, 24/7. The scope of information which may be controlled and made available and the information retention period are both specified by law.
